Renovating your home can feel complex, but the journey becomes much clearer when broken into simple project phases. These progress markers guide your project from first ideas through to construction, developing the design carefully at each stage.
Phase 1 – Briefing, Feasibility and Concept Design
We begin by understanding how you want to live and exploring design ideas for your home. In this phase we develop a clear project brief reflecting your priorities and initial design concepts and layout options
Phase 2 – Developed Design and Planning Submission
The preferred concept is refined and prepared for planning submission. The outcomes are a coordinated architectural design, planning drawings and supporting documents and the submission and management of the planning application
Phase 3 – Technical Design and Contractor Tendering
The approved design is developed into detailed construction information and issued for contractor pricing. We develop detailed technical drawings and specifications, which are coordinated with engineers and consultants. We produce tender documentation and support in selecting a contractor.
Phase 4 – Site Supervision and Contract Administration
We remain involved during construction to help guide the project and protect the quality of the design. We carry out regular site inspections and contractor coordination, administer the building contract and Monitor progress, quality and project completion.
